Modern, minimally invasive, imaging guided treatments such as microtenotomy, for certain cases of heel pain, or cryoablation for certain nerve conditions are replacing older surgical procedures. Our doctors are experienced in recognizing if you may be a candidate for these less invasive procedures. The doctors at Burrard Podiatry have a good working relationship with radiologists as these procedures require referral to a specialized radiologist. The minimally invasive procedures have the advantage of being less risky than surgery with a quicker recovery.
