Our doctors are experienced in operative and non operative foot care. After a thorough examination of your feet, which may include x-rays or MRI or CT scan or other tests, as well as the biomechanics of your feet, we can help you decide on the best course of action for your condition.
If you have already had a foot surgery and did not receive the outcome you were expecting, our doctors can provide you with another opinion.
Modern, minimally invasive, imaging guided treatments such as microtenotomy, for certain cases of heel pain, or cryoablation for certain nerve conditions are replacing older surgical procedures. Our doctors are experienced in recognizing if you may be a candidate for these less invasive procedures. The doctors at Burrard Podiatry have a good working relationship with radiologists as these procedures require referral to a specialized radiologist. The minimally invasive procedures have the advantage of being less risky than surgery with a quicker recovery.
